Notion AI is deeply embedded in the Notion workspace. It can answer questions from your workspace, connect to tools like Slack and Google Drive, summarize meeting notes, and help create or edit content. For teams that already live in Notion, it is a very natural fit. The tradeoff is that the experience is still centered on the Notion workspace rather than a broader cross-tool workforce model.

## What Notion AI is best at

Notion AI is best when the knowledge base and the work live inside Notion. It can answer questions, summarize pages, help draft content, and support research and meeting-note workflows without leaving the workspace. For teams already standardized on Notion, that tight integration is the main attraction.

## Where Notion AI is weaker

Notion AI is still oriented around the workspace. That makes it great for organized docs, but narrower for companies that need to connect knowledge across many operational systems and then turn the answer into action. If the real job is to work across a messy stack of tools, Notion AI can feel too contained. Pricing has also gotten a second meter: Custom Agents, added in May 2026, bill separately in credits on top of the Business or Enterprise seat price, so a heavier agent workflow adds a variable line item rather than a flat per-seat cost.

## Where Sistava is stronger

Sistava treats knowledge as part of a broader employee system.
