Schedule cards now make normal quiet-time behavior easy to read at a glance. When an employee has repeatedly found nothing to do, the card says Pacing itself instead of making that healthy efficiency look like a problem.

If a faster check matters, choose Use normal cadence. It restores the next check to the cadence you set without changing your schedule, and real schedule problems remain clearly marked separately.
