# Make Tool Approvals Clear

## Details

Tool permissions now show the two choices that matter: Don't ask or Ask first. When you have not set a preference, the choice the tool uses by default is highlighted for you instead of being hidden behind a generic default option.

Approval requests in chat also include a direct link back to that tool's permission settings, so you can change the behavior without hunting through the workspace.
