If you ever think someone else has your account, changing your password is the fastest way to shut it down. That now does what you would expect: every other browser, computer, and paired desktop app you are signed in on is signed out immediately, and whoever is holding one of those sessions has to enter your new password to get back in. The browser you change it from stays signed in, so you keep working without interruption.
