# Talk on In-App Video In-App Video is the planned way to have a live video conversation with an employee from inside the workspace. It has no working implementation today, only a placeholder entry in the channel list. ## TL;DR In-App Video will let you talk face to face with an employee, camera and microphone, right in the workspace. It is on the roadmap and cannot be enabled yet. Once it ships, you will manage it from **Settings > Technical > Channels**. ## How It Works ```mermaid flowchart LR A[Camera and microphone] --> B[In-App Video] B --> C[Employee] C --> D[Video response] ``` The plan is for video to use the same execution pipeline as every other channel: same skills, tools, training, and conversation memory, just delivered over a live video call instead of text or voice. ## What It Can Do Not applicable yet. The channel has no working implementation today, only a placeholder entry in **Settings > Technical > Channels**. ## How to Set It Up Setup is not available yet. Open **Settings > Technical > Channels** and you will see **In-App Video** listed under **In-App** with a **Coming soon** badge. There is no camera, microphone, or Manage configuration to use today. ## Tips & Tricks Use web chat or the voice call button in chat for live, real-time work until video ships. Keep the employee's training, skills, and tools current so the same context is ready the moment a new channel launches. ## Good to Know The card stays a compact **Coming soon** placeholder in **Settings > Technical > Channels** until the channel actually ships. No camera or microphone connection is possible through this channel while it is unavailable. ## Frequently Asked Questions **Q: Is In-App Video available today?** A: No. It is on the roadmap and has no working implementation yet. **Q: Where do I find it in the meantime?** A: **Settings > Technical > Channels**, under **In-App**, listed as **In-App Video** with a **Coming soon** badge. **Q: Will video share memory with web chat?** A: That is the intended design once the channel ships, the same shared employee memory and pipeline every other channel uses. **Q: Is this the same as the voice call button in chat?** A: No. The voice button in chat is a separate, already-available feature for real-time spoken conversation. In-App Video is a distinct planned channel for live video calls.
