# Learn at the Academy

The Sistava Academy is the free school for learning to work with AI employees, in plain English, no code.

## TL;DR

## How It Works

The Academy has three separate paths, and you can use any or all of them:

The flagship course is **Working With AI Employees**: nine modules, about an hour total, written for someone with no technical background. Each module explains a topic in plain English and calls out the official technical term as it comes up (for example, "Large Language Model (LLM)" or "Human-in-the-loop"), so you learn the real vocabulary without needing to already know it.

A second course, **Working With AI Agents: The Deep-Tech Version**, covers the same ground at a more technical depth: prompting and context engineering, tools and MCP, memory and retrieval, multi-agent orchestration, and evaluations. It is not published yet. Its page shows a cover and description with a waitlist form instead of a syllabus.

## Where to Find It

- **Academy hub**: the overview page. It explains what the Academy is, who it is for, and links out to live sessions, self-paced courses, and certification.
- **Course page**: shows the course cover, the instructor, and the full syllabus laid out as a numbered learning path, ending in a "Graduation" step.
- **Module page**: one lesson at a time. A sidebar lists every module in the course so you can jump around; the bottom of the page has previous and next links, and the last module links to the quiz.
- **Certification page**: an SEO-style page explaining the three steps to certified (take the course, pass the quiz, download the certificate) and what the certificate proves.
- **Sessions page**: describes the live session offer, what it covers, pricing, and opens the request form.

## What You Can Do

**Read the course at your own pace.** Nine modules, each roughly 5-8 minutes:

Every module ends with a short list of key takeaways. There is no login requirement and no progress tracking between visits, you simply read the modules in order (or skip around using the sidebar).

**Take the certification quiz.** After the ninth module, a link takes you to a 10-question quiz drawn from the course. You need a score of 7 or more (70%) to pass. There is no limit on retakes: if you do not pass, you can retake the quiz as many times as you like.

**Download your certificate.** Once you pass, enter your name (email is optional) and Sistava generates a Certificate of Completion showing your name, the course title, the date, and the founder's signature. It downloads as a PDF through your browser's "Save as PDF" print option, not a server-generated file.

**Request a live session.** The live session is an hour with an Applied AI Employee Engineer, one on one or in a small group, tailored to your business and your first real task. It covers the same nine topics as the written course. It is free for founders and $100 per session for everyone else. There is no self-serve calendar: clicking "Request a session" opens a contact form that qualifies you before a session is scheduled.

**Join the free cohort.** The Academy hub has an email capture for a "free cohort": drop your email to get notified as new lessons open, plus invites to group sessions.

## Tips

- Start with **Working With AI Employees**, the only course with content today. The deep-tech course is waitlist-only.
- If you fail the quiz, you can retake it right away. There is no cooldown or attempt cap.
- Enter your name exactly as you want it to appear before generating the certificate. There is no edit step after it renders.
- If you would rather learn live, request a session instead of reading the course. Founders get it free.
