Pickaxe
Building, packaging and selling AI agents as products through branded portals
About Pickaxe
Pickaxe calls itself the Shopify for agent-powered businesses. You build client-ready AI agents, package them into products, and sell them through branded portals with billing and access controls built in. The target is entrepreneurs, consultants, coaches and service providers monetising AI capability rather than consuming it. Sistava is aimed at the business that wants the work done, with white-label available for those who go on to resell.

What is Pickaxe?
Pickaxe is a commerce layer for AI agents. Build an agent, wrap it in a branded portal, put billing and access control around it, and sell access to your clients. The Shopify comparison in its own copy is apt: it is less about the agent and more about everything needed to sell one. The audience is people whose product is expertise: consultants, coaches, agencies, service providers. An SEO consultant can package an audit agent, a recruiter can package a screening agent, and both can charge for it without building a billing system. That makes it a different category from most tools on this page. Pickaxe customers are selling AI, not using it internally.
Consuming AI versus reselling it
The distinction determines whether Pickaxe is even relevant to you. If you want your own outreach sent, content shipped and customers answered, portals and billing are overhead you have no use for. If your business is delivering a service to clients and you want to productise part of it, that packaging layer is genuinely the hard part, and Pickaxe removes it. The two overlap for agencies, which is why Sistava offers white-label and a reseller programme: run the workforce for your own operations, then rebrand it for clients when that becomes a line of business.
What to check before building on Pickaxe
Pricing first, since it is not on the homepage. Understand the revenue share or platform fee, because on a resale model that comes straight out of your margin. Then check what your clients experience if the underlying model changes or an agent misbehaves. When you resell, their support burden becomes yours, and you want to know what you can control. Finally, confirm whether you own the customer relationship and the data. On a platform that sits between you and your client, that answer matters more than any feature.
