What is StackAI for?

StackAI is aimed at the IT department that has been asked to let every team use AI without losing control of it. The platform gives business users a drag-and-drop builder, and gives IT the governance layer around it: who can build what, on which models, with which data, deployed where. The deployment flexibility is the differentiator. Multi-tenant for speed, VPC when data cannot leave your cloud, and full on-premise when regulation demands it. Paired with HIPAA, GDPR, SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001, that covers most regulated-industry objections. Being LLM-agnostic matters here too. Regulated buyers want the ability to swap models without rebuilding, whether for cost, for a vendor policy change or because a model was deprecated.

Build versus hire, again

Every agent builder shares the same shape: enormous flexibility, and a build phase you have to fund with someone attention. StackAI is a good one, and the honest cost is still that a person designs, tests, deploys and maintains each agent. In an enterprise that is a feature.
