It is aimed at individuals and small teams who want their existing calendar and task list run smarter by AI. Sistava is a different category: instead of a productivity dashboard a human still operates, you hire an AI employee with a role, marketer, sales rep, ops assistant, who works its own schedule and does the underlying work itself.

What does Motion actually do?

Motion is a personal productivity layer: it looks at your tasks, deadlines, and meetings, then rearranges your calendar so the important things get done and focus time survives a busy week. It is genuinely useful for a person drowning in their own to-do list. Sistava solves a different problem. Instead of helping you manage your own work faster, it gives you AI employees who take the work off your plate entirely, with a role, a memory, and a schedule of their own.

Which one fits your situation?

Motion is the better answer when the work is yours to do and the difficulty is ordering it. It assumes a capable person with too many commitments, and it makes that person faster by deciding what happens when. Teams that live in a shared task board and want it prioritised for them get real value out of it. Sistava assumes the work outgrew the person. Prioritising a list of forty things does not help when the honest answer is that twenty of them will never be reached by anyone. Hiring an AI employee changes the number of people working, not the order of your list. One useful test: if you deleted your task manager tomorrow, would the work still happen? If yes, you need scheduling. If no, you need someone to do it.

Can you use both?

Yes. Motion is priced per seat for the humans on your team, and Sistava does not add seats to it, because AI employees work on their own boards rather than occupying a human seat in your task manager.
