Persana AI

AI sales prospecting, enrichment and signal tracking with credit-based research agents

About Persana AI

Persana AI is a go-to-market data platform: waterfall enrichment across a large set of providers, live buying signals such as job changes, hiring, funding and site visits, and research agents that study an account and write the personalization angle before anyone reaches out. It also sends, with native email, warm-up and multi-channel sequencing. Sistava overlaps at the outreach end but is built around a persistent employee rather than a research engine, so the same worker carries the account from research through to reply.

What is Persana AI?

Persana sits at the data end of go-to-market. It pulls contact and company data through a waterfall across many providers, so when one source has no verified email it tries the next, and it enriches with firmographics, technographics and funding history rather than just a name and a title. On top of that it watches signals: job changes, hiring patterns, funding rounds, site visits, review activity and technology adoption. Research agents then study the account and produce the angle, the competitive context and a lead score, so the message a human or another tool sends is not generic. It sends too, with native email, warm-up and multi-touch sequencing, and it pushes into Salesforce, HubSpot and the usual outreach tools. The center of gravity, though, is research quality. That is what buyers come for.

A research engine versus a worker who stays

The clearest difference is what persists. Persana produces excellent inputs: an enriched list, a scored account, a personalization angle. Those inputs are consumed by a campaign, and the campaign ends. A Sistava AI SDR Employee is the thing that consumes and remembers. It researches, decides, writes, sends, reads the reply and updates the record, then keeps that account in memory so the next signal lands on top of what it already knows rather than starting over. Credit metering follows from the same design. Persana charges for the work of looking things up, which is honest for a research tool but makes cost move with curiosity. A flat workspace price makes more sense when the thing being bought is a role rather than a lookup.

Do you need both?

Often, yes, and that is a legitimate answer. Teams with a hard data problem, obscure verticals, poor email coverage, heavy dependence on intent signals, get real value from a specialist enrichment layer that a general-purpose employee will not match. What we would push back on is buying research capability and calling outbound solved. Enriched lists do not send themselves, and the most common failure we see is a beautifully scored account list that nobody worked. The practical split is to let a specialist find and enrich, and let an employee own the motion afterwards, including the parts nobody enjoys: the fourth follow-up, the reply that needs a real answer, and the CRM record nobody updated.
