Act on a Team From Its Dashboard

A team dashboard was good at telling you how a team is doing and useless at helping you do anything about it. You read that three pieces of work were blocked, then went hunting through tabs for the board they were sitting on. Every part of it is now a door. Blocked work opens the task board. The roster opens members, and opens hiring when the answer is that the team is short. The sprint opens the work inside it and the chat where its goal gets changed. Goals and metrics open your business page, which is where they are actually edited rather than merely displayed. Files, routines and activity each open their own tab. The rule behind it runs across the dashboards: the overview says what, and the page it links to says why and lets you change it. Nothing on a dashboard should be a dead end that leaves you navigating by memory.
