An employee's own Drive is where its work lands: notebook entries, uploads, transcripts, deliverables. That's useful when you know which employee produced something. Company Drive is for when you don't. It rolls every employee's Drive into one company-wide tab, organised by team, with each team holding its members' Drives inside it and a Bench group for anyone not on a team right now. Employees who have left drop out of the view entirely, so the tree shows who is actually working here today rather than everyone who ever passed through. Nothing moves and nothing is duplicated. It is a read view over the same files: open a report here and you are looking at the exact document its owner has. A toolbar toggle switches between Work files, meaning the documents, images, video and screenshots an employee produced, and All files, which adds its notebook and work logs for when you want the reasoning behind a result rather than just the result. Files a person uploaded, chat attachments and training documents, belong to no employee, so they sit in their own Uploads branch instead of under somebody's name, and can be filtered by project. There is also one Download drive action that zips every active employee's files into a single archive, fetching the contents rather than listing links, so what you get is a real snapshot you can keep offsite or hand to someone outside the product.
