Ask an employee for a budget and get back a real .xlsx with working formulas and number formatting, not a table pasted into chat that you have to rebuild yourself. Ask for a proposal and get a .docx. A deck comes back as a .pptx with real layouts, charts, images, tables and speaker notes. A data pull comes back as a .csv, and anything meant to go outside the company as a .pdf, from a plain report to a fully designed page with proper print typography. It edits as well as creates. Hand an employee a file you already have and name the change, and it works on that file instead of starting over, so the formatting and content you didn't ask about stay as they were wherever the format allows it. PDFs stay PDFs, regenerated from their readable content. None of this runs through code an employee writes on the spot. A structured rendering engine turns the content plan into the real file, which is why what you get opens properly rather than arriving as a broken export. It is a built-in capability of every employee. Nothing to connect, no separate app to open, no account to authorise, and it is included on every plan, Free included. The file lands in your Drive alongside everything else, ready to download, share, or hand back with a comment asking for one specific change.
