Files Now Sort Themselves Into Groups

Finding one document meant scanning every file you own, mixed together: a report your employee wrote sat next to a screenshot it took while working and a note it keeps for itself. There was no way to tell at a glance which was which. Files are now grouped by where they came from: work your team produced for you, pictures and videos it made, screenshots it captured, files you uploaded, and the notes your employee keeps for its own use. Nothing gets filed by hand. Each file is tagged with its origin at the moment it is created, which is why a written report and a Markdown note both land in work files while a screenshot taken during a browser run lands in screenshots regardless of what it happens to show. Within each group the newest is first, and if your employee filed something into its own folder, that folder still shows as a folder rather than being flattened away. The folder view and the download you get from this page use exactly the same groups, so the names never change on you between browsing and exporting. Grouping by origin rather than by file type is the deliberate part. You almost never go looking for a .png. You go looking for the screenshot your employee took while it was stuck, or the report it wrote last Tuesday, and those are two different piles.
