Let Your Employee Run Terminal Commands
New Feature · 2026-05-24
Details
Once you pair the desktop companion app, your employee can run real terminal commands on your machine: git, npm, brew, ls, grep, and more. This is part of Computer Controller, so it sits alongside using desktop apps and working with local files. Destructive patterns like rm -rf /, sudo, dd, reboot, and fork bombs are hard-blocked before they can run, and it stays off until you turn it on for a specific employee.
What changed
- Run shell commands like git, npm, brew, ls, and grep through a paired employee
- Hard-blocks destructive patterns such as rm -rf /, sudo, dd, and reboot before they execute
- Off by default, enabled per employee once the desktop companion is paired
