Detect and redact personal information

You can now enable PII Protection from your company Policies tab. Once it's on, your employees automatically detect and redact personal information like emails, phone numbers, credit card numbers, and social security numbers, both in what people send and in what employees respond with. Pick exactly which types of information to watch for, and the redaction happens quietly in the background without interrupting the conversation.

What changed

• Enable PII Protection with one toggle on the company Policies tab
• Choose which data types to detect: email, phone, name, credit card, SSN, IP address, address
• Redacts sensitive data in both directions, on incoming messages and employee responses
