See What Repeat Work Saved You

A long conversation or a multi step job sends the same background material again and again. When that material can be reused, you are charged a small fraction for it instead of the full amount, and that is often the difference between a cheap turn and an expensive one. Open any action and there is now a Prompt Cache panel next to the credits. It tells you how much of the request was reused, how many credits that took off the bill, and what the same work would have cost without it. If a step could not reuse anything and paid full price, that step is called out on its own line so you can see which part of the job was the expensive one.
