Your Spending Limit Is Now Off Until You Want It

When we launched the spending limit we turned it on for everyone with a number worked out from your plan. The idea was to be helpful. In practice it meant some of you were paused by a limit you had never chosen and had no reason to go looking for. That is the opposite of a safety net you own. So it is off now unless you switch it on. Your plan's credits are, and always were, the thing that decides how much you can spend. The limit only paces how fast you get through them, which is useful when you want it and confusing when you did not ask for it. If you had one running that you never set a number for, it has been switched off. If you typed your own number, we left it exactly as you had it. And if the limit does stop your team, you will not have to work out why. The message in chat, the notification, and the email all link straight to Rate Limits, where you can lift it for the rest of the period, change the number, or switch it off.
