Create and Publish Social Content

Create one social post or a batch with your Marketing employee. Keep the results as drafts, review them before publishing, or give a selected account limited permission to publish automatically.

Start With One Post

Open your Marketing employee's Work menu and choose Create and publish social content. Describe the subject, choose the networks, and say whether you want drafts or publication. Your employee reuses your business information and Brand kit. When a creative direction is missing, you get a few recommended approaches with writing and visual ideas. Choose one or describe your own preference, including the language and whether this post needs an image.

Each idea becomes a saved Content card with a separate version for each selected network. Review the wording and attached media in chat or the company Content library. Comments stay with the same creative, so you can request changes without copying the post into another document.

Set Your Brand Preferences

Open Library → Settings → Brand kit. The same shared kit guides Marketing, Design and other employees creating content for you. You can set your brand voice, content language and audience, writing guidelines, example copy, visual direction, colours, fonts and reference links, and upload a logo.

Choose a voice preset as a starting point, customise it and select Save Brand kit. Empty language and audience fields use your Company preferences. A one-off assignment can use another style without replacing those shared defaults. Owners and admins can edit the kit; workspace members can read it.

Website import is coming soon. You can add a website as a reference and customise the kit manually today.

Review Before Giving Publishing Permission

Select Review draft on the chat preview, or open its card in Library. Approve draft records that you like this version, without connecting an account or scheduling publication. Editing the copy or image makes it need review again. Request changes sends your note back to the employee in the creative's conversation.

When ready, select Plan publishing. Review the complete post, choose your account and select Publish now or a date and time. The suggested time is an editable starting point. Approve & schedule confirms this post for that destination; Approve & publish now makes it eligible for immediate delivery.

Choose How Publishing Works

Choice What happens
Drafts only Your employee creates saved posts for you to review. Nothing is scheduled or published.
Review before publishing You select the connected account and destination, review the final post and time, then approve it.
Automatic publishing An explicitly authorized account can publish within its saved limit and end date. Other accounts keep their own settings.

Open Library → Settings → Publishing permissions to choose the employee, account, destination and approval preference. Selecting a network in the composer does not connect an account or grant permission to publish.

The same employee can require approval for LinkedIn while using an automatic permission for X. Changing the post, attached media, destination or publishing time requires a fresh approval when review is required. Removing permission or disconnecting the account prevents future publication.

If the employee's tool setting also requires approval, that review still applies. Saving a new automatic permission starts a fresh allowance with the chosen limit and expiry.

Schedule a Batch

Tell your employee how many posts you need and the dates or cadence. Review the topics and finished posts, then choose publishing times in your timezone. Scheduled posts appear on the company Calendar and retain their Content cards.

Publication can resume up to 15 minutes after the selected time. After a longer delay, choose a new time and approve again. Several posts due during a short interruption can publish close together when service resumes. You can pause the workflow or cancel an unsent post; an already published post remains published.

Repeat an Assignment

Ask to repeat the assignment and specify the interval, number of runs and end date. Your existing approval settings apply to this request. Manage the resulting routine under Routines, where you can pause or disable it.

A recurring routine starts the same bounded workflow each time. It does not change account permissions and does not start another batch while the previous one remains active. A one-off request never becomes recurring because you approved its posts.

Understand the Result

Draft means the content is saved. Needs approval means a review is pending. Scheduled means publication is planned. Published requires a recorded confirmation from the network, with a post link when available.

If the network's response is uncertain, the post needs attention. Do not create another copy just because a confirmation is missing: the first attempt may already have been accepted. A failed or partially completed batch shows which posts succeeded and which still need action.

Review a Published X Post

Ask your Marketing employee to review an X post published from a saved Content card. The read uses the same connected account that published it. If access has changed or the publication has no saved confirmation, the employee reports the gap instead of switching accounts.

The result includes available engagement totals and the time they were checked. Missing numbers are unknown, not zero. These totals are a snapshot, not growth over a reporting period. You can also request recent direct replies, up to ten at a time within the reported window, which is less than seven days. Continuing the read retrieves another page; it does not send replies or start monitoring. Your tool review settings still apply. LinkedIn post metrics and comments are not supported by this selected-post read.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Do I need to connect an account to try it? A: No. Start with drafts, then connect an account when you want publication.

Q: Can I approve some posts and change the others? A: Yes. Decisions belong to individual saved versions. The approved posts can proceed while the others remain in review.

Q: Does every network support automatic publishing? A: No. Draft previews cover more networks than managed delivery. The publishing picker shows the supported account choices; unsupported formats remain drafts until a compatible publishing path is available.

Q: Will it reply to comments or improve posts from performance data? A: This workflow creates and publishes the requested content. Engagement and performance analysis are separate assignments.

Other Marketing Jobs

Your Marketing employee's Work menu groups jobs into Social content, Content & search, Campaigns & conversion, and Brand & insights. Use it to plan a content calendar, draft replies, write or repurpose an article, research keywords, improve page copy, prepare an email campaign or landing page, plan ads, define your voice, research your audience and competitors, or review results.

Choose the job whose result you need. Planning a calendar does not schedule posts, preparing an ad campaign does not spend money, and requesting a report does not create a recurring routine. You review the work before choosing its next step.

Resume interrupted work

Stopping a conversation also pauses its saved social content job. A new message can discuss the work, but does not resume it. Open Resume saved work from the employee's recovery link, then select the Resume saved work button on the saved job. Your confirmed brief, saved drafts and existing media remain available. Resuming work does not approve publication.

Generated images and videos appear as preview cards in the conversation, with download and full-view controls. A media preview confirms the asset exists; it does not mean the accompanying post has been saved or approved for publication.
