Sintra AI Integrations: How to Connect Your Accounts

How-to — — by Mahmoud Zalt

Where integrations live, the exact connect flow, which helper owns which account, and the documented limits on email, calendar and inbox automation.

The confusing part about connecting accounts in Sintra is not the OAuth flow. It is that the connection lives in one place and gets used in another, so people connect Gmail and then ask the wrong helper to read their mail.

This guide covers the connect flow itself, then the map of which helper actually uses which account, then the documented limits. That last section is the one that saves you an afternoon.

Sintra's integrations page describes a catalogue of over a thousand integrations powered by Composio, and points to the Composio toolkits directory for the full list. In practice the ones that matter to most people are email, calendar, drive, social and a handful of productivity tools.

Where do you find integrations in Sintra?

In the Brain AI tab. Sintra's Brain AI documentation describes the area as three parts, and one of those parts is the list of available integrations. There is no separate integrations page in the sidebar to hunt for.

Their integrations article describes the mechanic as browsing the available options, selecting the one you need, and a side panel appearing on the right with the Connect action in it. Independent walkthroughs describe the same panel.

Connecting a Google account, step by step

  1. Open Brain AI — Sintra's guide describes clicking the Brain AI button in the sidebar. Do this on the web app rather than mobile, since several configuration areas are documented as browser features.
  2. Find the service in the integrations list — Their Google article names Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive and Google Analytics as the four Google services covered by this flow.
  3. Click Connect — Sintra's steps describe clicking Connect, then clicking Connect again, or choosing Add new account if you are attaching an additional account to the same service.
  4. Choose the account in the pop-up — A new window opens and you pick the Google account you want to use. If you manage several businesses, check you are signing in as the right one before you continue.
  5. Grant the permissions — You allow the Sintra app to integrate with the service you picked. Read what is being requested, the same way you would for any third-party app touching your mail.
  6. Confirm the green checkmark — Sintra's documentation says the Connect button changes to a green checkmark once the connection succeeds. If it does not change, the connection did not complete, so repeat rather than assuming it worked.

Their integrations article also states that integrations can be disconnected at any time, though it does not spell out the exact steps. If you need to revoke access urgently, you can also do it from the provider's own security settings, which is the faster route when you are locking down a compromised account.

Which helper uses which connection?

This is the mapping that saves the most confusion. A connection made in Brain AI is available to the platform, but the actions built on top of it belong to specific helpers, and asking the wrong one gets you a polite non-answer.

What you connectedHelper that acts on itWhat their docs say it can do
Gmail or OutlookCassieRetrieve emails by filter, draft and send text emails, reply, add Cc or Bcc
Google CalendarVizzyCreate one-time and recurring events, read, edit and delete events, add attendees, add a Google Meet link
Facebook, Instagram, LinkedInSoshieGenerate, schedule and publish posts to connected pages
Gmail or Outlook plus the Inbox ManagerCassieCategorise incoming mail and draft context-aware replies for your approval

One useful habit from Sintra's email documentation: name the platform in your request. Their guidance is to mention which platform you want when asking Cassie to retrieve email, which matters as soon as you have both Gmail and Outlook attached.

What can Sintra actually do with your email?

More than you would guess for retrieval, less than you would guess for sending. Sintra's email documentation says Cassie can find received emails filtered by date, by sender and by subject, and that filters can be combined for a tighter search.

Sent mail is narrower. Their docs state that retrieving emails you sent supports filtering by date and by subject only, with recipient filtering unavailable.

There is a documented failure mode worth memorising. Sintra's guide notes that Cassie may retrieve too many emails, which causes processing problems, and advises breaking the request into shorter date ranges. The same advice appears in their calendar article for busy calendars.

For sending, their documentation describes drafting in chat, a clickable draft you can view and edit, and a Send button. It also states that Sintra supports basic emailing features in chat, meaning text, with attachments not supported.

What are the documented limits on connected accounts?

Connections cost credits once they start working

Connecting an account is not what costs you. Using it is. Sintra's credits article lists helpers using connected integrations among the things that consume credits, and prices retrieving a week of email at 1 credit and website scraping at 0.5 credit.

That is worth planning around if you were imagining a helper sweeping your inbox every morning. A daily habit is a monthly number, and every plan on their pricing page on 17 August 2026 listed the same 250 monthly credits regardless of tier.

Why connecting accounts feels like a project

In fairness, Sintra's connect flow is short and their docs for it are unusually specific. Naming the green checkmark as the success signal is a small detail that a lot of products leave out.

But look at the total: you connect the service, learn which helper owns it, learn the phrasing each one needs, discover the filter that is missing on sent mail, and then keep all of it working as accounts and permissions change.

That wiring is exactly what we removed at Sistava. Rather than mapping accounts to helpers yourself, you hire an AI Employee and describe the outcome you want. Its tools are connected already, it asks you when it is unsure, and it sets itself up. Nothing to map, nothing to maintain.

Whichever tool you use, the security habit is the same. Grant the narrowest access that does the job, review it every few months, and revoke from the provider's own settings rather than only from the app.
