Sintra AI: How to Schedule Social Posts With Soshie
How-to — — by Mahmoud Zalt
Connect your pages, generate posts in chat or on a weekly cycle, approve them properly, and avoid the format limits that silently break a post.
The single most common complaint about scheduling posts in Sintra is that the post never went out. Almost every time, the reason is the same, and it is documented: the draft was created but never approved with the button.
This guide walks the whole path. Which helper owns social, which platforms are supported, the two ways to generate posts, the approval step people miss, and the format limits that quietly reshape or reject your media.
One thing to settle before you start: Sintra's documentation states that only Soshie can manage social media posts, and that other helpers cannot access that functionality. If you asked Penn to publish something and nothing happened, that is why.
Which social platforms does Sintra support?
Sintra's social media article lists Facebook and Instagram, LinkedIn personal profiles, and LinkedIn organization pages. Soshie's own help page describes the same set as Facebook Pages, Instagram Business and Creator accounts, and both LinkedIn account types.
The exclusions matter as much as the list. Their documentation is explicit that Facebook Groups are not supported, only pages, and that Reels are not supported for creation or posting.
| Surface | Status per Sintra's docs |
|---|---|
| Facebook Pages | Supported |
| Facebook Groups | Not supported |
| Instagram Business and Creator accounts | Supported |
| Instagram Stories | Business accounts only, not Creator accounts |
| Reels | Not supported for creation or posting |
| LinkedIn personal profile | Supported |
| LinkedIn organization page | Supported |
If your plan depended on Reels or on posting into a community group, check their current documentation before you build a workflow on top of it. Those two gaps are the ones most likely to send you back to the drawing board.
How do you connect your social accounts to Sintra?
Connections live under Brain AI, not inside Soshie. Sintra's integrations documentation describes the pattern as finding the integration you want, clicking Connect, then signing in to that service in a pop-up window and granting the permissions it asks for.
Their Google guide describes the same flow in more detail, including an Add new account option when you want more than one account on the same service, and a green checkmark replacing the Connect button once the link succeeds. Expect the social providers to behave the same way.
What are the two ways to create posts in Sintra?
Sintra documents two routes, and they are genuinely different products of effort. The manual route is Soshie's chat, where you brief a single post and get a single draft. The automated route is the social media content manager, which generates a batch on a weekly cycle with far less input from you.
Their guidance is that both prepare content in bulk, but the automated option asks much less of you while the chat route gives you tighter control over one post at a time. Start in chat while you are still learning what good output looks like, then switch the weekly generator on once you trust it.
Generating and scheduling one post in Soshie's chat
- Fill Brain AI first — Sintra's Soshie page is direct about this: the helper needs your business context, brand colours, fonts and content rules loaded into Brain AI before it can produce anything personalised. Skipping this is why first drafts read generic.
- Open Soshie's chat and brief the post — Give the topic, the platform, the audience and any hashtags you want. Treat it like briefing a freelancer rather than typing a search query.
- Review the draft caption — Sintra's documentation notes posts need to be under 2000 characters in length. Long-form thought pieces will need trimming before they will go out.
- Attach or generate the image — Documented image formats are JPG, JPEG, PNG, GIF and WEBP. Supported aspect ratios are 1:1, 4:3 and 9:16, and their docs state that images outside those ratios are auto-cropped.
- Click Approve or Schedule for later — This is the step people miss. Sintra's documentation says confirming the action by a message in the chat is not enough. You must click the button: Approve posts it now, Schedule for later puts it on the calendar.
Video is a narrower path. Sintra's documentation lists MP4, AVI, WEBM and MOV, with a limit of up to one minute, and describes video as an automation feature rather than something you attach freely in chat. Plan around that before you shoot anything.
If you want a carousel, their help centre describes a separate flow: go to Soshie's chat, choose view calendar, click the post you want to adjust, click the image, select add, pick your image, and save the changes. Images added that way appear in carousel format.
How does the weekly social media content manager work?
This is the hands-off option. Sintra's documentation describes activating it from Soshie's chat with an Activate weekly posts button, answering a few clarifying questions about your pages and your business, and then choosing whether to upload your own media or let it generate images.
From then on it drafts posts on a weekly cycle and drops them into a calendar view for you. Nothing publishes without your sign-off, which is the right default even though it means the automation is not fully autonomous.
Reviewing the weekly batch
- From the calendar — Click an individual post in the calendar view to open it for review.
- From the review tab — Sintra's docs describe an x posts to review tab inside the calendar view that collects everything pending.
- From the Inbox — The same x posts to review entry appears in the Inbox in the left sidebar, which is the easiest one to build a habit around.
- Edit before you approve — Their documentation says you can change the media, including uploading from Brain AI or replacing what is there, the caption, the platform and page, and the publishing date.
- Approve or Decline — Approve schedules the post and the label changes to Scheduled. Decline removes it from the calendar so it will not be scheduled.
- Drag to re-time — Sintra's docs describe drag and drop in the calendar view to move dates, and note it works for both approved and pending posts.
What does social posting cost in credits?
Worth knowing before you generate thirty posts to see what happens. Sintra's credits article lists a social media post created in chat at 1 credit, and an image created in chat as varying between 0.5 and 1.8 credits.
The good news is that the same article lists scheduling and publishing posts among the background features that do not consume credits. Generation costs, distribution does not.
The part that is still work
Credit where it is due: the weekly generator plus a review queue is a sensible design, and the approval gate is the responsible choice. Plenty of tools would just publish and let you find out afterwards.
But look at the shape of the week you have just signed up for. Load the brand context, connect the pages, activate the generator, then open a review queue every week, edit captions, swap images, drag dates, and keep an eye on which drafts are still yellow.
Work like that is exactly what we removed at Sistava. Instead of maintaining a review queue, you hire an AI Employee and tell it in plain English what you want posted and how often. It has the accounts connected already, it asks you when it is unsure rather than parking a draft in a list, and it sets itself up. No queue to babysit.
Neither approach removes editorial judgement, and neither should. The question is only how much of your week goes on mechanics rather than on deciding what is worth saying.
Gotchas the docs mention only once
- Chat confirmation is not approval. Sintra's documentation is explicit that a message in the chat does not finalise a post. Only the Approve or Schedule for later button does.
- Aspect ratios are enforced by cropping. 1:1, 4:3 and 9:16 are the documented ratios. Anything else is auto-cropped, which is how a logo loses its edges.
- Captions cap under 2000 characters. Write to that ceiling rather than trimming after the fact.
- Video is one minute and automation only. MP4, AVI, WEBM and MOV, up to one minute, described in their docs as an automation feature.
- Instagram Stories need a Business account. Sintra's docs note Creator accounts are excluded from Stories.
- Fill Brain AI or expect generic copy. Soshie's own help page ties output quality directly to how complete your Brain AI context is.
None of these are reasons to avoid the feature. They are the six things that turn a confusing first fortnight into a working publishing rhythm, and they are much cheaper to learn here than from an empty calendar.
FAQ
Why did my Sintra post not publish?
The most likely reason is that it was never approved. Sintra's documentation states that confirming an action by message in the chat is not enough, and that you must click either Approve to post now or Schedule for later. A post still labelled Needs approval in yellow will not be scheduled.
Which Sintra helper handles social media?
Soshie. Sintra's social media documentation states that only Soshie can manage social media posts and that other helpers cannot access that functionality, so requests sent to another helper will not publish anything.
Which platforms can Sintra post to?
Sintra's documentation lists Facebook and Instagram, LinkedIn personal profiles and LinkedIn organization pages. Facebook Groups are not supported, only pages, and Instagram Stories are documented as working for Business accounts but not Creator accounts.
Can Sintra post Reels?
Sintra's social media documentation states that Reels are not supported for creation or posting. Check their current documentation before planning around it, since supported surfaces change.
What image sizes does Sintra support for posts?
The documented formats are JPG, JPEG, PNG, GIF and WEBP, and the documented aspect ratios are 1:1, 4:3 and 9:16. Sintra's docs state that images outside those ratios are automatically cropped, so prepare artwork at a supported ratio if framing matters.
How do I add more images to a post I already scheduled?
Sintra's help centre describes going to Soshie's chat, selecting view calendar, clicking the post you want to adjust, clicking the image, selecting add, choosing the image and saving the changes. Images added this way appear in carousel format.
Does scheduling a post cost credits?
Sintra's credits article lists scheduling and publishing posts among the background features that do not consume credits. Generating a social media post in chat is listed at 1 credit, and an image created in chat is listed as varying between 0.5 and 1.8 credits.
