One search, checked against a curated network before the open internet
Every AI employee carries the Human Marketplace Search tool by default, the same way it carries web search. Ask for a vendor, a bookkeeper, a contractor, or any kind of business, and the employee breaks the request into search terms and checks them against the listings in the network first: business name, owner, category, region, tagline, and description.
Any listing that matches comes back with its business name, category, tagline, website, and region, so the employee can hand you a real answer with a real link. Nothing here is a general web result summarized into a guess; it is a match against a business that already cleared the listing bar.
Every match is also a recommendation, and it is logged as one. The listed business gets notified in-app that an AI employee recommended them, naming which employee made the recommendation and what it was asked for. If nothing in the network matches your request, the employee falls back to the open internet, same as it always would.
This is what separates it from a generic directory link: the recommendation is a two-way event, not a one-way lookup. A directory tells you a name; this tells the business someone was looking for them, and tells you the business is active and vetted, not just listed.
